Design Refined

From my years of interaction with the process of designing kitchens and wardrobes, I have come to learn that a design that looks simple and works well has a lot of hard work gone behind it. Will products become so simple that they disappear? Will services be so advanced that you do not see the service provider?
As a natural extension of this refined thinking cabinetry design and the support it gets from the component supplier industry is at its best now and on par with the automobile and technology industry.
Our industry has achieved this level of simplicity after years of refining what is already working well. What do you get when you further improve and simplify the best working mechanism in the world? When you eliminate noise, eliminate distraction, eliminate waste, eliminate what is not required you are left with what is truly essential and focus all your energy in making that essential work well – the result is a beautifully interacting product.
I call it the age of “Design Refined”. This is where the global furniture industry is at – be it the component manufacturer, retailer or the machine producer we have reached a level of refinement from years of perfecting what truly fits well and works well.
The lines that divide manufacturing, trading, shopping, owning, experiencing are disappearing. Products are being “Design Refined”, how products are made is Designed Refined how products are matched with service is Design Refined and how these products+service meets you is Design Refined.
